Immunisation is a simple, safe and effective way of protecting your child and yourself against some diseases that can cause serious illnesses and sometimes death. We record the child’s growth patterns and childhood immunisations. Our doctors are happy to provide parents with evidence-based information and advice regarding the childhood vaccination schedule, including the risks versus benefits of vaccination.
We provide all childhood vaccinations that are bulkbilled provided per NSW government vaccination schedule
The Practice Nurse at Dexterity Health Medical Centre are immunisation accredited providers and continually attend update courses on the changing paediatric vaccination schedule. Currently babies are immunised against Hepatitis B at the hospital on the day of their birth. They then have vaccinations at 6 weeks/2months, 4 months and 6 months and then at 12 months, 18 month and 4 years of age.
Adolescents receive vaccinations via their school vaccination program, however catch up vaccinations are available for those who missed out.
Please make an appointment at Dexterity Health Medical Centre 0246261111. When making an appointment for vaccinations please indicate to the receptionist that the appointment is for a vaccination.
